A seat pedestal is more than a column between the deck and the chair.
In a boat, it defines the seating height, rotation, comfort and working position. It also has to handle movement, vibration, saltwater exposure and repeated use over time.

Norsap seat pedestals are developed for marine seating installations where the chair must feel stable, practical and easy to use. The range includes fixed-height pedestals for simple, robust installations, adjustable-height pedestals for greater seating flexibility, and spring- or gas-dampened versions for improved comfort in more active conditions.

All columns are supplied with anodised aluminium tubes and rotation. Depending on the model and installation, the pedestal can be delivered with flanges in powder-coated white aluminium or polished 316 stainless steel.
